Product Description

This is a modified lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump, mounted in a black finish stainless steel pump frame. Capable of achieving the recommended sampling rate of 0.75±0.25 scfm while preventing the valves in the dry gas meters from floating. Modified and tested to be leak-free. Recommended for use in most stack sampling procedures in order to obtain an accurate sampling rate.

The recommended sampling rate of 0.75±0.25 scfm has been carefully selected by experts so that it is optimized on the following factors:

• Maximizing the catch (on filters)
• Minimizing the weight of the sampling train/setup
• Sufficient heat transfer to condense 50% water
• Able to operate at a pressure drop of around 15 inHg (if filters get dirty)

No flammable or explosive gases, nor operate in an environment containing such gases.
Corrosive gases and particulate matter will cause damage to the unit. Filtration is required to remove water vapor, oil-based contaminants, and other liquids.

Consider buying transport cases if you will be traveling too far from your main offices.

Maintenance 

Store the tubing/hoses loosely (i.e., don’t coil it too tightly) to avoid tubing from developing cracks which will cause leaks in time.
A lubricated vane pump generally needs low maintenance but requires a periodic oil change.
