Probe Heater
Description
Used to heat up temperature of sampled flue gas flowing through probe liner before it reaches filter. Probe liner excluded.
Specifications/Material/Measurements:
4ft or 6ft
Fits all probe liners from Aer Sampling unless otherwise mentioned.
Purpose and how to use? Relationship to other products?
The probe heater is used as a sort of "pre-heater" in order to make sure that sampled flue gas hits filter at the required temperature. Especially when the nozzle is positioned at traverse/sampling points that require most of the length of the probe to be outside the chimney/stack.
Relevant texts/methods/requirements:
Section 6.1.1.2 (Probe Liner), USEPA Method 5
Section 6.2.3 (Suction Tube - sample probe), ISO 9096:2003(E)
