Combination Probe Assembly
Aer Sampling's standard USEPA Method 5 probe. Includes probe heater, S-type pitot tube, thermocouple and extra tube for auxiliary gas sampling.
Stainless Steel 316
Nominal length (from tip to tail) = 4ft or 6ft
Effective length (approximate; usable length, from tip to point where bends will hit porthole of stacks) = 3ft or 5ft
Purpose and how to use? Relationship to other components?
Combines the various probes/tubings into one (temperature, differential pressure, sample line, auxiliary sample line, probe heater).
Connect to metering console via an umbilical cord and insert into stack/chimney porthole during stack testing to start taking measurements. Move from traverse (sampling) point to traverse point after a specified amount of time at each traverse point.
